"You won't do it at the right time. You'll be late. You'll be early. You'll get re-routed. You'll get delayed. You'll change your mind. You'll change your heart. It's not going to turn out the way you thought it would. It will be better." ~Kate Muller
Ten years. That's how long it's been since I sat in the front of the Logan gym in a silver gown with a stupid hat on my head holding Blue Eye's hand through our class song so I wouldn't cry after giving my speech. In some ways, graduation seems like yesterday, and in a lot it feels like a whole life ago.
High school was good for me. Sure, it had its bad moments, but all in all, it was a great experience. I
won more gold medals than would fit on my FFA jacket,
played at the State Basketball Tournament, wore the homecoming queen crown,
traveled all over the country to look at animals, almost caught the school on fire, learned more than I thought possible from teachers like
Mr. Franklin, and made some great friends along the way.

If you had told me at 18 that I would, at 28, be an attorney, have traveled to
5 different countries,
lived in San Francisco, run a
half marathon, seen a
football game at Notre Dame, had
orange as a favorite color, sti
ll be single, have several new best friends....I would have called you crazy. My life has been better than my little 18 year old head could have comprehended ten years ago sitting in the front of that gym.

LOVE it. Wow, I am copying this...a post (or memories for me) on what has happened in the past ten years...
I know, I know, I have like 4 of your posts I am planning on doing. Atleast I am honest about copying eh?
and you have done a LOT in your 10 years. Time not wasted. Thats always my goal-- good or bad, failures, mistakes, etc, but no wasted time.
Next wkd I watch my baby sis graduate at the same stadium I did 10 years ago...crazy.
My, my, how time flies - it does NOT seem like 10 years have passed. It feels like we've been ex-roomies forever.
