Okay, y'all. It's time for me to get serious about this running thing. I've got an 8k (5 miles) coming up in March and a 10K (6.2 miles) coming up in April. How much have I run in the last month? Probably 5 miles. Total. Yikes! Remember when I found my inner runner and finished a half marathon?
Yea....I'm not sure how that happened, but I'm trying to make it come true a second time! Not that I've been being some lazy blob on the couch--I've discovered this beautiful thing called spin class, which I love and has really been great for my weight loss goal. But....it's not going to do me any good when I'm dying along Lake Michigan and making ND Friend carry me for the last half of the St. Patrick's Day Run!
So...in an effort to gain some motivation, I've made a new running playlist. You're going to laugh at my list---who ever thought they'd see Nelly, Bon Jovi, Reckless Kelly and Miranda Lambert on the same playlist? That's sort of my musical taste though--anything and everything.

What songs are must haves on your running mix?

Dang! I also need to get my ass to running!....maybe I also need a playlist......
Are you strategic in determining the order in which the songs play? Like if you know you hit a wall at 20 minutes then you delibrately play a pump-up song at that time?

Oh I LOVE that picture - that's exactly what I think when I'm running too. Your playlist rocks - need to buy a few new ones to add to mine!!! Best of luck training for your upcoming runs babe.
I always recommend Lil Wayne's A Milli for any running playlist - it's the perfect tempo!
I love that running meme pic with the little girl - that is totally me!
