Loud Oklahoma Girl's Wedding by the Numbers!

“This very moment is a seed from which the flowers of tomorrow's happiness grow."  ~Margaret Lindsay

When you are in as many weddings as I've been, you have to get creative to figure out how to mix these blogs up and keep them fun.

With that in mind, I give you Loud Oklahoma Girl's Wedding by the Numbers.
Me and the married woman!
125--number of orange sashes we tied into bows onto chairs at the reception venue.  Don't get me wrong, the reception looked amazing with the pop of orange, but Holy.  Crap.

1--number of apple enchilladas that I ate at the rehearsal dinner.  Y'all.  I had never heard of these babies, but they were AMAZING.  I mean seriously so good, I can't even tell you.  Combine them with smoked brisket, potato salad, ice cream and corn....that got an A + in my book!

At least 5--number of times over the weekend that I laughed so hard I snorted.  I don't even know where to start.  I'll give you one example.  We're driving to decorate for the reception and BOKG is talking about this article she read about things to do to protect your fertility as you get older.  She says, "And if you're dating someone, well, even if you see a guy and you think he's cute, and he has a laptop on his balls (sorry, necessary for the story!), you tell him to get that sh** off of there before he fries things!"  Where does she come up with this?
Guess which bridesmaids are laughing and not paying attention?
1.5--number of miles LOKG and I ran at 5 am on her wedding day morning.  Yea, you heard me.  We're hardcore.  Even took a photo.  Yikes.  You'll see in a minute that the make up and hair people work miracles!

2--awesome hair dressers who let us take over their salon starting at 6:30 in the morning.  Bless their hearts!

4--aprons that the bride sewed herself as bridesmaid gifts.  I seriously think these are the best bridesmaid gift that I've ever gotten!

Several--number of funny mimosa photos.  What?  We were up running at 5 am.  A mimosa or two was necessary!

1--number of times I got teared up before the wedding.  I'm not emotional.  And not a crier.  So I survived the rehearsal, seeing her in the dress, praying before the wedding, her mom crying at the salon.  But for some reason, the hairdresser went to put glitter in LOKG's hair and I got all teared up. I think maybe the glitter was made of onions or something.  There can be no other explaination.

49--number of bobby pins required to make my hair look presentable enough for the wedding.

1--adorable ring bearer in a baby tux.  Is there anything cuter than a baby in a tux?  No.  Well, maybe a monkey in a tux...I'd have to see them side-by-side to analyze.
5--number of wedding day shirts made by yours truly.  That's right guys---I did something crafty!  And I think they turned out pretty darn good if I do say so myself.

10--number of hands held while we prayed for LOKG before she walked down the aisle.

2--number of times the groomsman who escorted me and I practiced the now infamous chest bump that we did before walking back down the aisle at the end of the wedding.  That's right, kids, we did a chest bump.  Allegedly there is a photo...still trying to get it.  When we were all leaving the front after the ceremony, we wanted to do something fun.  One couple high fived, one guy twirled LOKG, the ring bearer's parents kissed the baby, and me and my partner did a chest bump.  My idea.  Yep.
The only picture of me and the groomsman together...no idea.
Multiple--number of bridesmaids it took to get our girl into her dress.

At least 17--number of times the ADD flower girl who was standing on the step next to me fell down during the ceremony.  Totally had to pull out my best "mom" voice.  She didn't seem to care.

3--number of OSU fans excited about orange dresses!
0--number of times I plan to wear my bridesmaid shoes again.  Don't get me wrong, they were super cute, but also super uncomfortable!

At least 5--number of "jazz hands" photos taken.

1*--wedding cupcakes I ate at the reception. The * is because I may or may not have eaten the icing off of two more.

2--number of people who said, "That's the chest bump bridesmaid" as I walked by at the reception.  It was a proud moment.

5--months pregnant is KP with a little rock star baby!

3--drinks were spilled during our first 15 minutes of dancing at the Hard Rock.  Oops.

6--crazy girls who shook it all night to celebrate LOKG's big day.

About 57--number of funny dancing pictures snapped during the night.

5--number of days that I have had "The Trouble With Girls" stuck in my head.  The bridesmaids walked down the aisle to this and I loved it!

3--of the best friends that any girl could ask for.

1--beautiful bride, handsome groom, and amazing wedding.  Here's wishing you guys MANY happy years together and COUNTLESS blessings!  (And perhaps a child named after Aunt Tiff one day.)

This is, by far, one of the best wedding recaps I've seen in blogland! What a great idea! Looks like a super fun wedding-and props to all of you for going running, doing the whole wedding and reception, and THEN going out afterwards! I would have been passed out by then!

a - LOVE the numbers.
b - LOKG - LOVE the aprons! That's too stinkin' cute.
c - Holy cow. Mad props, running on a wedding day early in the morning when you KNOW you're wearing wedding shoes that night. If you want, come get my hiney out of bed one morning and give me a sprinkle of your motivation. Just not too early, please?
