It's Thursday/Friday. Time for some confessions.
1. I could not be more excited about the Labor Day weekend trip in the works. Details are not final yet, but the plan is me, ND Friend, and the south. Heck yea. Southern boys, look out.
2. I am counting down the days (21) until college football kicks off. It's my favorite time of the year. GO POKES!
3. Work has been crazy stressful the last couple weeks. Like make me consider quitting my job and wait tables kind of stressful. Trying to hang in there.
4. My throat is a litle sore from yelling at the tv watching the Olympics. Lately, it's been "RUN Sanya" and "Hit the ball, Kerry" that have been the most common phrases. My yelling has worked, both of them won gold. You're welcome.
5. Watching said Olympics, especially the women's track events, makes me want to do about 5,000 sit ups. Holy cow those abs are unreal!
6. I failed on my 2 books a month goal for July. DANGIT. Took me an extra 7 days to wrap up my second book. But don't worry, I'm going to do my best to catch up by the end of August. I'll have my book reports on July tomorrow.
7. I'm not a huge fan of Mr. Mayer and his shenanigans, but I love this song and this quote.

Hang in there! I can relate about the book comment - I have renewed the same book three or four times at the library! And it's not just because it's not a good book - I haven't really even opened the book. As for work, hopefully it calms down a bit. Enjoy Labor Day planning!
(1) I'm a BIG fan of southern boys. well, I'm a BIG fan of the south in general. tip for your trip: wear white and linen and searsucker, because here in the south, its illegal to do so after labor day!

OH and ps, if you do make it to a UGA game on your trip south (as you mentioned you might) -- wear a cute red or black sundress...(a) it will be way too hot for jeans this time of year in the south, and (b)we like to dress up a little for games at most SEC schools.... but don't worry, I wear a sundress and pony tail and flat sandals.
Um so excited to hear all about your trip to the south! You so deserve a nice relaxing fun break from your job :) Also, the womens beach volleyball gold match ROCKED!! Love Misty and Kerry!! It's okay to be late on 2 books during July, because you had an Oklahoma Wedding, 4th of July, and the beginning of the Olympics. I'm so impressed you got 2 let alone 2 in :)

I to have a confession to make. I love the Olympics as well but there is tiny part of me that is ready for them to be over and lets get on to my guilty pleasure show that doesn't start until September. Sons of Anarchy. (I'm pretty sure moms should not be watching this or really anyone who is morally sound)

Hi Tiffany! So enjoyed my visit over here :-) We are seriously missing the olympics over here b/c we don't have cable, and our regular antenna isn't picking up the channel we need. Soooo sad. I'm glad you've been cheering loud enough for me too :-). - And oh my goodness, that FB status by your uncle!!! What a riot! It sure sounds like you're surrounded by people who love you. What a gift....
WHen I was watching the girls and guys run their mile in under 4 minutes, I was thinking that I would probably DIE if I tried to do that. At LEAST pass out! Their jog pace is like my sprinting pace!

4) hang in there with your job. I'm sorry it's stressful! I try to always tell myself "at least I have a job". It doesn't always work for me. Maybe it will for you!
