I know I've done these "brain dumps" before, but today is going to be really random. Bear with me through this week and I promise I'll try and get blogging back on track!
1. Did you know that in your car, on the gas gauge, there is a little arrow that shows you what side of the car the gas tank is on?? See it there, pointing to the driver's side?

I learned about this a month or so ago....where was THAT in driver's ed?? They were too busy trying to teach me which way to park on a hill....I grew up in eastern NM....there are no hills. Whatever. I tested it out when I had the rental car in Tennessee last week and sure enough, it works.
2. Okay, girls, do y'all have a total weakness for a boy wearing good cologne? I mean to tell you, I think that they put some sort of magic potion in that stuff. It's intoxicating.
3. Similar to number one as far as helpful information goes, College Roomie informed me after she read this blog that I should NOT use flour to put out a greese fire in my kitchen. WHAT?! This was the ONE thing that I thought I knew about cooking. Well, that and don't eat raw chicken. Apparently the flour can actually cause a fire ball. Instead, you are supposed to use baking soda. You're welcome in advance.

4. Blonde Oklahoma Girl and I talk about a lot of random stuff. I mean, a lot and I mean really random. Yesterday, I was telling her about how I agreed to be someone's healthcare proxy--meaning that I will make medical decisions if he is unconscious and unable to make those decisions. I commented on how I better never have to actually do it, because it would be so hard. She said that she thought I would be the perfect person for that, becuase I am analytical, and I put others first, so I would do what was best for the other person, and I could put my own emotions aside. I commented on how strange it was that she just told me I am the perfect person to say to pull the plug on someone....I think I'm officially old because someone saying that to me, and indicating that I'm responsible, is now a great compliment.
5. BFF has officially obtained our tickets for the Oklahoma State v. Texas A&M game in College Station later this month and I could not be more excited. College football, BFF and Cousin Kevin?? Sign me up!
6. I went for my first massage ever yesterday. And, true to form, I didn't particularly like it. Add that to the list that included shopping, pedicures, and purses. Fortunately, I know I'm a girl because I do love shoes, boys and the color pink. Phew! Anyway, back to the massage--it was fine. I felt more relaxed afterwards. But during it, I didn't really enjoy it. It was too quiet, and I was just laying there doing nothing for what felt like forever. It's too hard for this girl to be that still and that quiet for that long.
7. Target is now a grocery store too. Great. I already go in there to get one thing that costs $4.99 and come out $57 later. This is not a good thing in my book.
8. How great was the first weekend of college football? We kicked it off with the Baylor/TCU game on Friday night. Remember, Cousin Swiss Mister is a Baylor alum. I thought his head might explode. I was sure happy that they won, because he needed some happy in his life. We followed up with a big win by my Oklahoma State Cowboys on Saturday. Great start if you ask me!

9. I am a little short on blog ideas right now....so if you guys have any ideas/suggestions, PLEASE oh PLEASE comment below!

Tiffy,
Again I loved this blog post like all the others! Thank you for not ending on an odd number as we know BOKG would not approve lol :)
GO POKES,
LOKG
hahaha, yes...you know how I do not like odd numbers. Love this post!
BOKG
Two thumbs up for this brain dump. Ugh. The word dump creeps me out. But I like the blog.

Ha...when I was a public defender I took state cars all the time...and LOVED the little arrow.
Massages rock...my only complaint...they end too quickly
LOVED the 1st weekend of college football. Went to the Ohio State game... left at halftime... thought I might otherwise spontaneously combust (sp???) because of the heat. Also learned on days that set heat records...not a good idea to start tailgating (aka drinking mass quantities) at 8:45 am for a noon game...makes it impossible to stay up past 7:30 pm :)
Lastly, I like brain dump posts...can you tell? :)
i dont know that the osu win was big..... didnt they allow something like 34 points? good job defence....
little brother
haha I'm going to check my car for the little gas tank arrow right now!
