Meet the Cast Monday #30: Loud Oklahoma Girl

This Monday you get to meet the Loud Oklahoma Girl! She is one of the group of college friends recently deemed the "Gossip Girls" and I just love her to death! Usually in the background section, I tell you about how I met the person, but she wrote a guest blog about that previously....click here.....and I have discussed it as well in a prior blog.....click here.

She is one of the craziest, most fun girls that you will ever meet in your life! She has a laugh that seriously fills up a room. And she's super hard core--you don't mess with this one. But at the same time, this girl has the biggest heart of anyone I know. She's going places....mark my words!

With that.....Meet the Loud Oklahoma Girl!

1. What is your favorite "Girl's Weekend" memory?
Hmm… This is so hard I love them all! I mean every girl's weekend turns into the most memorable. I will never forget the Senior Tequila Big Mamma experience when the bartender tried to kiss me and we were singing in Spanish the whole night. Tiff how does that go again?!?!?! {I believe that you girls continually sang "Besa mi culo, y cerro la puerta" which means "kiss my a**, and shut the door."}

Or the most recent girls weekend trip to Napa Valley where we got scolded over the bus intercom from the driver for like 5 minutes on how we needed to be quiet....come on, it is serious when football gets brought up! And meeting our Dubai boys and singing karaoke is pretty hard to beat!

If I had to pick one I would say my birthday last year. It was what we in Oklahoma call a {non blog friendly word} show, but SOOO much fun. Definatly the best birthday I have ever had! Let’s face it when you wake up the next morning and the doors to your house are wide open and there are more shot glasses and beer bottles laying around your house than anything else you know you had the time of your life! {First off, there were far more people than just the 4 of us, and secondly, this is a VERY rare occasion.....just want to clarify!} 2. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and what would you do?
Well I have always wanted to go to Greece my whole life! But, since that part of the world is under warfare, that will not be happening. Honestly, I think I will stay in the US because the rest of the world just scares me. I would not make it in a foreign jail or as a sex slave if I was kidnapped. I’m not down for that kind of life style you know… I do however want to move to Australia and start a kangaroo farm. How fun would that be?!? Also, I want to see New York at Christmas before I die.

3. A boy recently moved in with you….what has been the biggest adjustment from living alone?
Sharing!!!! I’ve pretty much been an only child, I mean my mom did not have my brother until I was 11, so sharing is difficult. Being single for the majority of my adult life I have purchased my own house and made it my own. When that amazing guy moved in he wanted to put up his things, which do not match or look good with that room, and that has been hard to allow. {This stuff includes OU crap and honey, I'll assure you, that doesn't look good ANYWHERE!} I mean I want a cute color coordinated house you know. Also, I had to give up one of my closets, share the coat closet and give up a set of dressers to him. So, I had to spend a day going through my clothes and shoes… Last, I am currently doing my best to learn to compromise! I've learned a relationship is all about give and take and not always being right. This has been very hard for me, becuase I do not like to be wrong.

4. What was your favorite part of college at OSU?
OMG I loved the whole thing! College is the one part of my life I will never forget. I made lifelong friends that I consider my family during college (FYI Tiff is one of those friends along with the rest of the Gossip Girls)! The memories I cherish the most in my heart from OSU are the times I spent with Miss Pink Boots and Blonde Oklahoma Girl! Those girls changed my life and mean the world to me! These girls are those special few people that come into your life and never leave! Miss Pink Boots, Blonde Oklahoma Girl, College Roomie and you are what made OSU so special and dear to me! {I absolutely couldn't agree more!} Oh, and you cannot forget the sports! I'm a huge sports fan and game days--whether football, basketball, or baseball--were awesome and unforgettable!
5. You work for Arby’s (and we all know how I feel about Arby’s from this blog). What exactly do you do?
Well technically I work for an Arbys Franchisee (United States Beef Corporation) not Arby’s directly. I will say that we are the largest franchisee owning 367 stores within 7 states throughout the Midwest. My title is Marketing Manager and I oversee the Outdoor advertising and Point of Purchase (POP) for our franchisee. Also, I help with Local Store Market and pretty much have my hand in about all marketing aspects within our franchisee. My job has been the best learning experience a young professional could ask for! Also, I work for a family owned corporation, which has been amazing for me. I can honestly say that I love my job and enjoy going to work every day.
6. If you could rewind and re-play one moment of your whole life, what would that moment be?
My childhood with my real dad. I don’t remember much about my life then, but the one emotion that floods through me every time I think about my life then is HAPPINESS! One piece of advice from a girl who has experienced a lot for a 29 year old, cherish every moment of your life with the ones you love. Take in all the memories that you make with these people and enjoy them. My father was the most amazing man in the world to me and I wish I could have all of the time I was blessed to have with him back more than anything else! {Pay attention, people....she's right on the money!}

7. What is your favorite song?
Baby Blue by George Strait! This song brings back memories of my father driving me around as a kid. This is one of those memories that I never lost and never will.

8. What is one (or more) item(s) on your bucket list?
Sky diving! I have no desire to bungee jump, but have always wanted to go sky diving! This will definately be a bucket list item that I check off! A few others are: swim with dolphins, parasail, go to Vegas, go to New York, and take my boy to an Atlanta Braves game in Atlanta. {We should discuss this.....I want to want to sky dive....I'm just not sure I do. If anyone could convince me, it's you! Remember that Baby Cousin had this on his list too, so maybe we should all three go together!}
