"Life is about the people we meet and the things we create with them. So let’s go out and start creating, life is too short to be spent alone." ~Unknown
Dear Mr. Right,
You should know that I come with baggage. A lot of it. In the form of the posse of people who are so involved in my life. Girl friends who analyze every text message from a boy. Guy friends who threaten to beat up any guy who looks my way. Uncles who are trying to set me up with "fairly good looking" convicts. Family friends who threaten to crash dates and hide a booth over so they can watch. Paralegals who run criminal background checks at the drop of a hat.
And if all this makes you want to run for the hills, I'll understand. But you can go on ahead and run, because these people are a part of who I am, and they're not going anywhere.
We all have baggage....mine is just more fun than most people's. You'll be lucky to have them.

Waiting for that day,
Me

ha i love this:) especially about the convicts hehe!
it's true that when you become involved with someone, you take on all of that person, including the people in his/her life. looks like you've got a fun crew with you and any fella better than his stars to be with you! :)
We all have "baggage," as you call it. But I would use a different word, I would use "support and protective" system ;)
So glad I found your blog btw! This is true and the right guy will completely embrace it.
If you look closely at the pics from last weekend with me and Sophie from her Princess Party, you can see Dan in the back. If you told him a year ago, he would be the "juice guy" at a PRINCESS PARTY for a 3 year old, he would have told you to go scratch...LOL!
I never thought I would meet a guy who would be so willing to jump in with my friends and family (and like you, my friends and family define the phrase "cray cray"). Keep in mind, my friend, that HE will come with some baggage as well...(he has quite the interesting family...let's leave it at that, shall we?)
I am so looking forward to watching your story unfold as you meet Mr. Right! He's going to be awesome!
so cute and humorous as usual! I know you will find the right person who not only accepts but embraces the crazy lovable people in your life! thanks for linking up!

I found you through your Friday Letters link and am excited to be a new follower!
And I have threatened to stalk one of my closest friends while on a date because she never seems to think her dates are good enough! I told her I'd be a few tables over wearing those inconspicuous plastic glasses with the fake nose attached. I doubt anyone would have noticed me.

I wouldn't call them "baggage" per se, maybe more like "passengers"?
Just found your blog from the Friday's Letters linkup. And I'm obsessed. Can't wait to follow/get to know you!
