I think that a lot of people have a common theme in our lives. We think of these lofty goals that we would love to achieve, but then we never really follow up to do anything about them. I know that I'm guilty of that to an extent.
But my friend Crazy Canadian is not like most people.

She set a goal of writing a book several years ago, back while we were still in college. And it wasn't just the writing a book that she wanted to do, but to write a book, get it published, and then sell the book. Well, last week, the dream came true. Crazy Canadian's first book, Live An Amazing Life has been written, is being published, and is for sale. She set a goal, worked towards it step by step, and made her dream come true. And we should all pay attention!

And....here is where the last part of the blog title will start to make sense....Crazy Canadian has offered to let me give away a copy of the book to one of my blog readers! This is my first ever give-away on the blog, so I'm very excited.
Here's the scoop for the drawing......

You are so amazing Tiff. When I saw that picture I was taken back, wow. Remember the only difference between a goal and a dream are the action steps!
Tiffany, this is awesome! I love how you support your friends in your daily life! The cards that are always on time, the blogs, the calls, the emails! And because I can't refuse a giveaway... my goal is to start my Ph.D. sooner or later... hopefully sooner than later! :) And also, FYI, I was your first follower... I feel like I should get some credit for that - haha!
Hi Tiffany! I have always had dreams and goals and have always found joy in thinking and "doing" them! My number one has always been to be happy! And I am! I love facebook because I have the opportunity to reconnect with old friends and when I do I choose to remember the good things, the worth while things, the things that made us better. So this has inspired me... I am going to WRITE!! Congratulations to your friend the Crazy one and to you for finding the JOY in friendship! Thanks!!!! Bethe
Hi Tiffany! Although I plan to email you back with a longer message, I just thought I should post the obvious: my goal is to become a full-time yoga instructor! And finally I am starting to actually assist and substitute teach some classes!
Good for your friend - my goal has been the same as her's, since I was a little girl writing stories in the treehouse out behind the barn. Wanted to write a book and get it published. Still working on it, but loving writing every day and reading everyone else's amazing work. The big question is. . what's your dream and goal?
Tiffy,
As a loyal follower of your blog, I apologize for not commenting earlier. My bad. My current goal for right now is to just be overall healthy. Not just exercising and eating right, even though I need to work more on the exercising part. I want my mind, body and soul to be healthy. Does that make sense? Also, my goal is to get my overweight bassett hound to loose weight. That dang dog is heavy.

Good post and CONGRATS to Robyn! What an amazing dream to come true. My goal is to once and for all decide to test for my PHR in December (I'm still in the denial phase - "noooooo! nooooooo!") and then to pass it when I decide I'm actually going to take it. And of course, I want to be able to do that one yoga move where I stand on one leg and extend the other leg in front of me, grab my foot, and balance there, all while looking graceful and fabulous. You know. Oh, you know.

Hey Tiff!!!! Congrats to your friend! This seems like a great book! My goal is to complete my masters, and continue to learn things everyday, but most of all find something that truly makes me happy everyday!
Hope you are doing great!
-Jen
I already ordered a copy, but wanted to tell you how much ispiration you and Robyn provide. And I love reading about everyone's dreams! Amy, I am totally with you on that pose.
